Presentation by Dr. James King, grandson of Ralph E. Hay, founder of the NFL.
Dr. James King’s grandfather, Mr. Ralph E. Hay, was very instrumental in the formation of The American Professional Football Association, which became The National Football League. Dr. King will entertain the gathering with stories of the NFL in its infancy, George Hallas, Jim Thorpe, The Canton Bulldogs, and how it all came together in Mr. Hay’s Hupmobile dealership on Sept. 17, 1920.
